Recommendation:

That the City Clerk and Mayor be authorized to sign the lease
with J.Q. Sports Media Limited,

Background & Comments:

The lease with J.Q. Sports Media Limited has been drawn up by the
eity solicitor for a five year term. As Council is aware, this
company will be providing advertising for both arenas. The
revenue to the city will be $500 per sign for five years. The
potential revenue generation of this program is $20,000 per rink,
per year; however, we would net likely receive this kind of
revenue in the Pirst year of operation.

It is anticipated that the upkeep of
