A meeting CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES Recreation held on That the minutes of the meeting of the Parks wednesday, February 1st, be taken as read and adopted. & Carried Item No. 1 1'linor Hockey Annual Vinter Carnival Richards met with the Parks and Recreation Committee to discuss their annual wind-up carnival which is to take place Friday, March 30th, Saturday, March 31st and Sunday, April 1st. In previous years they have held their wind-up in conjunction with the P.C.A.A.A. All Sports Carnival and, in doing so, have not had to pay the rental charges for the ice. This year, however, P.C.A.A.A. has chosen not to hold the All Sports Carnival and, therefore, the Minor Hockey Association would still like to be able to continue with their wind-up and have the charges waived. It should be noted that, prior to the P.C.A.A.A. annual All Sports Carnival, Minor Hockey historically had a winter wind-up carnival in which they received the ice free of Mr. charge. Recommendation That the Minor Hockey Association be permitted to hold their wind-up carnival on Friday, t1arch 30th, Saturday, March 31st and Sunday, April 1st, 1984, and that the charges be waived for this Carried event.
