No AIDS Found

A University of California,
San Francisco study of 300 health
care workers who care for AIDS
patients at San Francisco Gen-
eral Hospital has found no cases
of transmission of the disease to
health care workers who are not
in highrisk groups.

Many of the health care per-
sonnel work with laboratory
specimens from AIDS patients
and more than one-third of them
had sustained needlesticks or
other accidents with contaminat-
ed fluids From AIDS patients.
