BYLAW NO, 2795 A bylaw to regulate sprinkling in the City. THE CITY COUNCIL of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as “Sprinkling Regulation Bylaw No. 2795, 1993”. In this Bylaw: "“GVWD" means Greater Vancouver Water District; “Newspaper” mear —_ oublication or local periodical that: (i) conta :ms of news and advertising, and (i) is distributed at least weekly in the City; "Sprinkle or Sprinkling" means the application or distribution of water on lawns or boulevards by sprinkling or spraying but does not include the method known as “drip irrigation”; "Water" means water supplied by the City; “WSRP" means the Water Shortage Response Plan prepared by GVWD, a copy of which is available for viewing at the office of the Commissioner of GVWD at 4330 Kingsway, Bumaby, British Columbia, VSH 4G8, or at the office of the City Engineer at 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, V3C 2A8. Between the last Saturday of May and September 30th in each year where sprinkling restrictions are in place pursuant to Section 4 of this Bylaw, no person shall sprinkle or allow sprinkling on any property except in compliance with the provisions of this Bylaw.
