ITEM NO. 1 PoCo High Reunion ~ May 17th, 1980

A representative from the PoCo High Union Organizing Committee,
Paul Carino, met with the Parks & Recreation Committee to diacuss
rental fees at the Port Rec Centre. On Saturday, May 17th, the
PoCo Reunion Committee, wishes to hold their functions (dance,
displays, etc.) at the Port Rec Centre in both arenas and the
Mabbett Room. Mr. Carino indicated to us that the intent of the
Reunion was not one of fund raising; however should a profit be
made it would be used for scholarships at the high school, It
was further pointed out to Committee that the PoCo Reunion would
involve many PoCo residents and be a real community event. Con-
sidering the nature of the function the Committee would like to
make the following recommendation for Council's consideration:

1. That the PoCo Reunion Organizing Committee be charged
the subsidized rental charge for the Port Ree Centre,
which is $85.00 per ‘room, for a total of $255.00.
