City wishes them to proceed with the construction of the gabian wall so
that the Contractor can proceed with the dyke construction. The quoted
price from the Contractor for this work is $4,375. however, this may
vary slightly if the length of the gabian wall is more or less than his
estimate. I would recommend that we accept this as a solution to the
problem of relocating the improvements on this site and I also recommend
that when the survey plan is drawn, that we attempt to straighten out the
property boundaries in order to effect an exchange of lands with this
owner in order to solve his encroachment problem.
