Major crime during month of November 1977:

At epproximately 4:15 a.m. a 26 year old Port Coquitlam resident
was walking with a friend on Coquitlam Avenue. These two indivi-
duals kad been involved in a minor scuffle just previous to this
in front of.the Casa Roma II Restaurant on Shaughnessy Street.

As they were walking along Coquitlam Avenue a shot was fired fren
a passing van on Flint Street and this male received a shotgun
wound to the chest and abdomen area. Luckily, the wound was not
serious and he was hospitalized only overnight. Investigation
into this incident resulted in charges of Criminal Negligence
Causing. Bodily Harm being laid against two males, one a 21 year
old Fort Coquitlam resident and the second & 20 year old Coquitlan
resident.

There were a total of 39 breaking and enterings reported during

Possession - 6 males charged

Trafficking - 2 charges - 2 :

Cocaine: 1 charge of Trafficking
