Freeman, City Clerk Re: Diversion Route of Shaughnessy Street (North of Dorset Avenue) At the regular Council Committee meeting of June 13th, 1977, the Council received a report from the Leisure Activities Committee under date of June 9th, 1977 referring to proposed diversion routes of Shaughnessy Street (formerly Chester Street) and decided that. the Shaughnessy Street route allowing the greatest amount of parkland between that street and the Coquitlam River should be followed and that the parkland should extend from the River right to Shaughnessy Street; i.e. - a single row of houses on the’ West side of Shaughnessy Street should not be permitted. This proposal is shown on Map 1 attached te this memorandum. Alderman Ranger has requested that the Committee's decision be endorsed by Council. “\ NOR AK Oe City Clerk /ba attachment.
