urday, Jan, 9, The Peewees recently played a two-game tournament against
Smithers in which the team lost 2-3 in the first game and 4-6 in the second.
Smithers’ final goal was an empty-netter in the final seconds of the game.

Murray and Frank were sweating it out in the

“Frank, | need your help.”

Frank looked skeptical. BASED ON

Singles clubs, bars, even a matchmaker.

Frank looked disgusted.

“Murray, wisen up. This is the 90's.
Matchmaking is out. Bars ara aut,’ What's in
are the newspaper personal ads. You're mo Paul
Newman. But with your money, you should have
no trouble getting a ‘eal babe.”

Murray's eyes widened in horror.

“A man of my stature edvertising fora date’?

Frank ralled his eyes,

“Murray, you're as pompous as you were
back in school. The Daan of Law at.our univer-
sity met his wife through the personals.’ And
wow, What a faoker! II"

Murray gave in and placed the ad.

Sure enough, he met a ‘young one’, Edna,
8 45-year ald social worker. .A live wire. Sut no
money af her own,

“Edna, let's get married.”

Edna taok 3 seconds to decide.

“Okay!” J .

Three days before the wedding, Murray pre-
sented Edna with a marriage contract.

“Edna, I've got ta save the bulk of my
money for my two sons, You understand, So
sign here."

Edna wasn’t born yesterday.

“T'll get back to you on this."

Edna came back that afternoon.

In court, Edna was trantic. “Your Honour,
Murray gave me the contract three days before
the marriage, | tried to get legal advice but
the lawyer at my workplace was unavallabie,

- Then, | was too busy preparing for the wed-
ding. Anyway, | wouldn't have signed if {"d
known what this contract really meant!”

Murray glared at Edna.

“Your Honour, | had no idea she was lying
when she said she got legal advice! if 1 had
known, | wouldn't have married her. My sons
come before anyone else. The contract was’
meant to protect their interest."
