From the City Administrator, December 15th, 1978 advising of a City Admin., Dec. 15/78 meeting held in Coquitlam in which Inspestor R.W. Galbraith of the re RCMP Budget. Coquitlam R.C.M.P. Detachment outlined his Budget requests for 1979 and explained his approach to policing. The City Administrator further advised that the Municipal Council in Coquitlam have dealt with these Budget requests and ask that the City of Port Coquitlam give concurrence. Budget and Manpower Requests as outlined by the City Administrator in his memorandum under date of December 15th, 1978 and as dealt with by the Municipal Council of the District of Coquitlam be approved. a cut Carried. The City's share of the new headquarters would be $36, 469.00. Moved by Alderman Wright: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That the City of Port Coquitlam approve Option 'B' as outlined in the Fraser Valley Regional Library's letter under date of December 15th, 1978; AND THAT the City accept the payment of $36,469.00 as the City's share of the new Library headquarters cost.
