Carried. Alderman Ranger voted against the resolution. NEW BUSINESS: Alderman Mabbett advised he received the "Queen's Commemoration Medal" and the Mayor and 4?dermen extended their congratulations. Alderman Traboulay asked that the Environmental Protection Committee look into the possibility of an additional patrol by the S.P.C.A. for the summer months. Alderman Keryluk asked that the City Engineer look at the intersection of Lougheed Highway and Shaughnessy Street as the pavement recently placed there appeared to Alderman Keryluk to be quite uneven. Alderman Keryluk asked that signs be erected on Laurier Avenue near the George Pearkes School to inform the public that parallel parking only was permitted in that location.
