A new addition to the Festival this year will be an exhibition
presented by the Maison amérindienne of Mount St-Hilaire in
Québec. This unique First Nation’s visual experience
demonstrates the step-by-step procedure of the ancient art of
tree tapping and the transformation of its sap into the
mouthwatering maple syrup, known as liquid gold. This highly
- educational exhibit is a must-see for all ages as it also explores
many facets of the rich history and traditions unique to the
Native People of this region.
