A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Act was held prior to the Council Meeting of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, BC on Monday, September 26, 1994, at 7:30 p.m. Mayor L.M. Traboulay, and Councillors M.D. Gates, M.J. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, W.W. Stewart, and R.H. Talbot were in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator T.M. Chong, City Treasurer/Deputy Administrator GS aan City Clerk S. Rauh, Director of Community Planning C.F. Felip, and Fire Chief .W. Routley. His Worship Mayer L.M Traboulay advised that the following proposed Bylaw would now be considered: Bylaw No. 2925 To rezone: Lot Stl ' Section 7 | Township 40 . Plan 75782 - New Westminster District : froin RS-1 (Large Lot Residential) to RT-1 (Two Family Residential). _ The property is located at 3901 Cedar Drive and would permit development of a Two Family Dwelling. ~. Mr. Jim Barnes, 917 Richmond Place presented a 12 name petition opposing the rezoning; spoke regarding his concerns that the property level would be increased causing run off into his property; and about traffic turning left at the Cedar/Chelsea intersection. : Mr. Kelly Ottman, 3878 Richmond Place opposed the rezoning, and mentioned that he did not receive a notice of Public Hearing in the mail. | Ms. Margaret Vekens, 901 Richmond Place also stated she did not receive notice and. was opposed to the rezoning as she is concemed that it may be turned into a fourplex. Mr. Murray Williams, 3870 Richmond Place would prefer single family zoning. : Mr. J im Barnes. 917 Richmond reiterated his concems regarding traffic turning left at Cedar Drive and Chelsea Avenue intersection and his opposition to RT-1 zoning. | , Ms. Nancy Hastlemann, 3849 Richmond Place did not receive notice and expressed concern regarding water pressure levels. | , '
