April 17, 1989/077 From the City Engineer, April 13th, 1989 regarding Loading Zone for the Disabled - Terry Fox School. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Stewart: 1. That the request to establish a Loading Zone for the Disabled in front of the sidewalk leading to Terry Fox School be approved. That the City Clerk take the necessary steps to revise the Traffic Regulations Bylaw if the above recommendation is approved by Council. Carried. From the Director of Community Planning, April 13th, 1989 regarding Official Community Plan Amendment 1637, 1669 and 1711 Mary Hill Road. Moved by Alderman Gates: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That the Applicant be directed to hold a neighborhood information meeting to inform the surrounding neighbors about the proposed subdivision. That subsequent to the neighborhood information meeting, the Clerk's Office draft a bylaw revising the designation of the subject properties in the Official Community Plan. Plan Map Schedule B revising the designation of the properties from Residential Reserve to Phase I Residential and Phase I Apartment. Section 4.4.1 (1) adding a new clause west of Mary Hill Road. Carried. From the Director of Community Planning, April 13th, 1989 regarding Rezoning Application No. 80/88 for 1637, 1669 and 1711 Mary Hill Road. Moved by Alderman Gates: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: THAT the Clerk's Office be directed to prepare a bylaw rezoning Lots 4 & 5 Plan 1330, & Lot 177 Plan 24065 D.L. 342 Group 1 NWD, from RS-3 to RS-2 and RM=—3 . AND THAT final approval of the rezoning application be subject to the developer's agreement. The agreement is to contain provisions for installation of a dike and pedestrian walkway along the west property line and normal engineering requirements for drainage, road construction (including Shaughnessy Street) and utility services. AND THAT the rezoning application be held to proceed with the Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw Defeated. Alderman Gates and Keryluk voted in favor of the resolution.
