-~ THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM ~2- potential for development with on Pitt River Road. development was to ta was constructed. of till during ne~half of an approach lane considerable impact on streets already badly congested. Once the Mary Hill Bypass is completed, much of the westbound traffic from this area would use the Bypass but until then it would be forced onto the Red Bridge. Council is hoping for extensive redevelopment of the downtown area with high density apartments which will generate a considerable volume of traffic. This traffic will be forced to use existing exits from the City and will add to the congestion. I do not believe that it would be advisable to open up large new areas for development in other parts of the City until alternate traffic routes are available. c 7 +— aL’ Af a FYE. Peters, P.
