From the Public Works Committee, May. 15th, 1981 regarding traffic
circulation for the proposed residential and commercial development
under rezoning application, R#42-80, for the property addressed as
2612 - 2640 Mary Hill Road.

Moved. by Alderman Traboulay:

Seconded by Alderman Keryluk:

That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, May 15th, 1981

the following:
That the extension of Elgin Avenue remain open for possible future

use either as alternate access to the Court House or as access for the

lane;

That the City acquire title to the full width of the McAllister
extension;

That the City dispose of a five-foot strip of the McAllister
extension adjacent to the proposed development in order to allow the
building to be shifted five feet south;

AND THAT the building be allowed to be built up to the property -
liine on the south side but to leave a five foot sideyard on the north
side. The building would then satisfy the requirements of the Zoning
By-law with regard to sideyards;
be approved.

Alderman Mabbett stated the lane behind the proposed development
should be considered at this time. Alderman Keryluk enquired regarding
‘disposal of garbage from the proposed development. The Developer was
present and advised that garbage pickup will be from the underground
parking area, Alderman Traboulay suggested the proposed lane and
garbage pickup be discussed further by the Public Works Committee.
