May 10th, 1976 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C., on May 10th, 1976, at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, M.A. Thompson, and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer V.G. Borch, P. Eng., Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, Planning Officer Lanson Lee, Recreation Director Janna Taylor, and Mrs. B.M. Aalten. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Alderman Thompson: Minutes-May ' 3/76 Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the minutes of the regular meeting of this Council held on May 3rd, 1976, be taken as read and adopted. Carried. Agenda Item 10(a) to follow Item 6 Mayor Campbell advised that as requested by Alderman Laking, Agenda Item No. 10(a) would be moved from its listed position for consideration j after Item 6, as the Council's decision thereon will have a bearing on subsequent Land Use Committee reports. Special The City Clerk advised that Alderman Ranger had an item of extra-ordinary Presentation from Council business to transact at this time, and Alderman Ranger, on behalf of the Council, to Mayor Campbell for then made a special presentation of a "survival kit" to Mayor Campbell for the trip to Brazil trip he and Mrs. Campbell willbe making to Canela, Brazil, this week. It was duly noted that the kit contained two British Columbia Centennial flags, a fly-swatter, a serum injector, safety-pins, band-aids, a "help" sign in Portugese, etc., and Mayor Campbell expressed his appreciation, stating that he had never received so many gifts at one time before. Alderman Traboulay suggested that before the Curfew By-law is again reviewed, it may be advisable to obtain information on the
