Re: Rezoning Application R#4+72.

Legai: Lot 78, DL 380, Plan 30436.

Address: 3339 Jervis Street.

Area: 60' X 135’ ~- See attached map.

Request: To rezone from CS-1 to RS-1.

Reason: The registered owner requests a change in order to lower his taxes.
Comments:

This application is directly behind the Bistro and Brownie's Chicken . The
applicant apparently purchased the property in 1968. Shortly after an new
Zoning By-law came in delineating this area as CS-1. The present use is R5-1

and is not desirable for any new type of CS-1 use as the existing buildings
fronting Lougheed Highway isolate the lot from view.

Recommendation:

The Committee recommends to Council the parce? be rezoned to RS-1 as requested.

Item II

Mr. George Weltz made a presentation of a Mobile Home Subdivision. The Committee
was informed a Mobile Home Subdivision Report was in the process of being
prepared in 1969, but due to other priorities has remained approximately

three quarters completed.

Discussion on the Mobile Home aspect was ensued and the Committee asked for
further information to be presented to.them in the coming weeks.
