In their six round-robin games, they posted a nine-win and eight-loss record which included losses to .D.P. Todd and Kelly Road of Prince George, and Vanderhoof. . Their victories were over. Quesnel, ‘Burns Lake and Fraser Lake. Kermodes were then elimi- nated 15-11, 15-11 by D.P. Todd in the quarter-finals. Todd went on to defeat Kelly Road for the title. -Kermodes’ Grant Livadney picked up another all-star award for his fine play. Five teams of players age 35 and older took part in the two- day double-knockout series. Six teams had been entered, but Hazelton failed.to show. Hazelton’s place was taken by | the Village intermediates .who . played two default games. On the first day, Prince Rupert got their default win by taking the intermediates 73-53. Game three was a 70-51 win for Prince George over Terrace. | Game four was a ‘B’ side game that saw Metlakatla play the in- termediates to a 77-77 tie. ‘On Sunday, Terrace eliminated Metlakatla 74-71. Prince George then won ‘A’ side by beating Prince Rupert 65-62. In another ‘B’ game, Kitimat Oldies sidelined Terrace 65-60. In the ‘B’ side final it was Prince Rupert over’ the host . team 67-58, Prince Rupert’s-se- cond crack at Prince George in* the championship contest turned out to be a 69- 64 victory for the interior gang.
