Non-alignment is the main principle of India’s foreign policy, and will never be ab- andoned, Nehru declared. — _ Nehru pointed out that the most reactionary and conser- vative forces in India are ad- vocating war against China and opposing the policy of non-alignment, economic planning and socialism. International problems, however, should be decided not by war but through nego- tiation, he emphasized. We must put an end to war. There is no place for it in the world, the prime minister asserted.
