SUBJECT:ASSESSMENT OF D.C.C CHARGES AT BUILDING PERMIT
APPLICATION

An application for a building permit for tt6éT Broadway has
been recieved for calculation of Engineering charges. This
application is for the construction of a new structure on
the site that is approx. 245m from the existing office
building.The office is a converted house.

Recent construction in commercial and instutional zones have
paid D.¢.C’s under sinilar circumstances.

-A memorandum to council re industrial area D.C.C's was
submitted on April 23,1980 from F.E.Peters (copy attached)

Could I please have clarification on the current policy for
assessment of D.C.C.'s for building permit applications in
the industrial,commercial and institutional zoned areas of
the City
