WHEREAS good news often takes a back seat

AND WHEREAS there is always a need to
periodically focus on the ‘positive’ rather than
the ‘negative’;

AND WHEREAS this community. supports
the concept of an annual observation of the
“‘lighter’’ side of life in our country;

THEREFORE we do proclaim Wednesday,
July 1, 1987 as Lite Wednesday.
