Criteria used for Judging the proposals were as follows: a) Cost - one submission was over budget b) Similar Projects - two of the firms had undertaken more projects of this nature than the others. c) References - public agencies listed as Previous clients were contacted. d) Experience ~ staff experlence in both technical skill. and public polley making was noted from the resumes attached to the proposals. A short tist of two firms were interviewed by the Planning Committee for making a final decision. The two firms were falt to be equal in their qualifications and the Committee's decision was based on which firm's approach best matches the City's dirartion. In concliuston, the committee Is recommending the City retain the services of Corloltis Consultants to help prepare an ftndustrial! development strategy for Port Coqultium.
