to dispose of portions of Road shown dedicaced on Plan 2797 in the Southwest
Quarter, Section 7, Township 40, New Westminster District. in exchange for
sufficient land to re-locate the said portions of road.

WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous
of*cancelling portions ef Road shown dedicated on Plan 2797 in the Southwest
Quarter, Section 7, Township 40, New Westminster District in the City of .
Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia;

AND WHEREAS the Registered Ower of the land described in Section 2
of this By-law has agreed to convey the said land to the city in exchange
for the lands comprising the portions of Road shown dedicated on Plan 2797
in the Southwest Quarter, Section 7, Township 40, New Westminster District,
to be cancelled; : , .

AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised
Statutes of British Columbia, 1979, _provides that the Council may by By~

law dispose of any portion of a highwa ay jn exchange for such lands-es

may be necessary for the purpose of improviug, widening, straightening,

re~locating or divert ing the highway;
, NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation or the City
of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
4. The Corporation of the City of Port’ Coquitlam is hereby authorized
to convey to the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of
this By-law, ALL AND SINGULAR those cartain parcels or tracts of land
and premises which may be more particularly described as follows:
All those portions of road dedicated on Plan 2797 of the Southwest
Quarter, Section 7, Township 40, New Westminster District as
shown cross~hatched on a Reference Plan prepared by D.J. Dyce,
B.C.L.S. and dated Dune Sth, (98/5 |
at or for the price or sum of Fifty- ~two Thousand, Eighe Hundred Seventy~

four Dollars ($52,874.00) and in exchange for those certain parcels or

trects of land described in the next Section hereof,
