He is survived by hig wifa of S7 years, Nellie and his children, daughter Eileen Clarke {David}, sons Michael Jr. (Cora Kannedy) and Guy of Terrace, and grandson Michael of Vancouver B.C.. Mike is also survived by his brother Peter of Brandon, Manitoba and sister, Clara Coady, Bellingham, Wash. Predeceased by both his parents, his brothers Andrew, Paul, Morris, Joe and sister Bernice. After serving overseas during World War-ll, Mike returned to Canada where he met and married Nella, They moved to the lower mainland of B.C., eventually settling in Terrace in 1950. Mike was a very private and Independent man who enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and mushroom picking. He also enjoyed wood working and constructed several homes in the Terrace area, Long time residents of Terrace will remember Mike best from his days as proprietor of the Hi-Way Drive Inn rastaurant which was jocated whare the Evergreen Motel & Pub are situated today.
