Viscount Sehoal RECOMMENDATIONS: Suggest to Viscount School, that they improve the existing loop off Flint Street ta allow student drop-ai Alternately, suggest the construction of a turn faround/drop-of f location on school property, at the end of Salisbury, as shown in figure l. REQUEST FROM VISCOUNT SCHOOL A request was received from Viscount Elementary School to assess a problem on Salisbury Avenue, adjacent to the school. Drivers are apparently using this section of Salisbury to pick us and drop off school children. Because the roadway is narrow, the drivers must — back up and turn around to exit. This maneuvering ‘is dangerous for students who must dodge the vehicles as. they walk to school. Also, the residents at the end of Salisbury are irritated because of vehicles using their driveways and running over their lawns. . : SITE CONDITIONS The West end of Salisbury is an attractive location: for drivers to drop off students.
