RE: KENNAMETAL INC. - P.CB. CONSOLIDATION PROPOSAL

At the Environmental Protection Committee meeting held October 20, 1993 your
proposal to consolidate, in Port Coquitlam, P.C.B.’s from Kennametal facilities in Ontario and

Victoria was considered. Following discussion it was decided that the City has no interest in
receiving P.C.B.’s from Kennametal or any other facilities outside of the City.

Accordingly, the City does not support your proposal.
