champion of. the Northwest

-Men’s Soccer League. They won '
the title on the Aug. 30 weekend

- by downing Silvér Bullets 5-0 in
the last playoff game.

. The playoffs started with six

teams in round-robin competi-.

tion. After. two. games, the
Repap squad dropped out due to

‘not enough .players. All their

final games were 1-0 defaults.
‘Skeena Sawmills then was

eliminated due to having the se-

cond worst round-robin record,

went into a single elimination |

playoff. In. the ‘semi-finals,

‘Silver Bullets knocked off the

junior Juventis: .Timbermart

team 2-1.

Thornhill Pub scored a 5-0 win over. the Silver Builets to win the first annual championship of the Northwest
Men’s Soccer League. The season ended August 30. The winners posed for us just before winning the title. ~
