Britannique, aux Canadiens ainsi qu’aux visi-

teurs de diverses régions du monde. Cette féte

joue un réle trés important, encourageant ainsi la compréhension, |’appréci-
ation et le respect de l’actualité francophone.

Je félicite les organisateurs de cette féte qui avancent lhéritage et Pidentité
francophones de la Colombie-Britannique ainsi que leur contribution a la
riche tapisserie culturelle de cette belle province.

Participants can expect an entertaining and informative line-up of performers
and events during the festival, which profile French language and culture to
British Columbians, Canadians and visitors from around the world. The fes-
tival plays an important role in encouraging cultural understanding, appreci-
