BYLAW NO. 2272

A Bylaw to amend the Official Community Plan of
The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam.

WHEREAS an Official Community Plan was adooted by the "Official Community Plan
Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162"

AND WHEREAS an amendment to the Official Community Plan has been Dreoared and
after First Reading of This Bylaw the Council has:

(a) examined the amendment to the plan in conjunction with the most recent
capital expenditure erogram under Section 266 of the Municipal Act to
ensure consistency between Them;

(b) examined the amendment to The plan in conjunction with the Economic
Strategy Plan entitled "Port Coquitlam Industrial Develooment
Devel opment Strategy" TO ensure consistency between Them;

(c) determined that no apolicable waste management plan exists for
consideration;

(d) determined that the amendment to the plan does not atfect the District
of Coquitlam, The Corporation of the District of Pitt Meadows, or
The Greater Vancouver Regional District.

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation -of the City of Port
Coquitiam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

The designation of "Residential 2" shown on Schedule "8" of the Official
Community Plan Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162" as aoolying to:

Proposed Lot 1 as shown on a Topograohical Plan of 4a Portion of
Block "A", District Lots 174 and 289, Group 1, Plan 5917, New
Westminster District, orepared by V.C. Goudal and Associates,
British Columbia Land Surveyor, bearing Drawing Number C~3840-87
and dated February 23rd, 1987.

iS removed and the designation "Apartment 1" is aoolled.
This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Officia| Community Plan
Amendment Bylaw No, 6, 1987, No. 2272",

Read a first time by the Municipal Council and given an affirmative vote by the
majority of all members of the Council this 11th day of May, 1987,

Read @ second time by the Municioal Council! and given an affirmative vote by the
majority of all members of the Council this 11th day of May, 1987.

Determined that the amendment To the plan does not atfect the District of
Coquitlam, The Corooration of the District of Pitt Meadows, or tne Greater
Vancouver Regional District this 11th day of May, 1987,

Public Hearing held tnis 8th day of June, 1987,
