BYLAW NO. 2253 A Bylaw to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam to dispose of a portion of Road shown dedicated on Plan 2528 in District Lot 340, Group 1, New westminster District in exchange for portions of Lot 11 to Lot 17, inctusive, Block !11, District Lot 340, Group 1, New westminster District, Plan 2528, to be established as Koad. WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling a portion of Road shown dedicated on Plan 2528 in District Lot 340, Group 1, New westminster District in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of British Columbia; AND WHEREAS the Registered Qwner of the land described in Section 2 of this Bylaw has agreed to convey the said land to the City so that it may be established es an addition to the Roads in District Lot 340, Group 1, New westminster District; AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1979, provides that the Council may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway; NUW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as fol lows: The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey To the Registered Owner of the lands described in the next Section hereof ALL AND SINGULAR Those certain parcels or tracts of land and premises which may be more particularly described as tollows: All that portion of road dedicated on Plan 2528 in District Lot 340, Group 1, New westminster District shown hatched on an reference plan certified by 0.J. Dyck, British Columbia Land Surveyor dated the 26th day of February, 1987, a copy of which Is attached hereto; at or for the price or sum of $37,412.00 in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of land described in the next Section hereof. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam is hereby authorized to purchase of and from the Registered Owner thereof ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises which may be more particularly described as follows: All those portions of Lot 11 to Lot 17, inclusive, Block IIl, of District Lot 440, Group 1, Plan 2528, New Westminster District, included within the heavy outline on a reference plan certified by D.J.
