Dear Mr. Freeman:

Thank you for your Letter of July 15th to Mr. Farry in which you reported
Council's decision not to endorse the GVRD's 1986 population figure of

_ 37,000 for Port Coquitlan,

- Due to Mayor Campbell's absence in Brazil, members of the GVRD Planning
‘Department were unable to meet with Port Coquitlam Council as part of our
round of meetings with municipalities this spring. I am therefore writing
to ask your help in Setting up such a meeting now. Mayor Campbell hes
suggested that the Council meeting of Monday, August 16th might be possible,
and I would be grateful if you could confirm that this date is convenient,
We would require approximately. one hour for discussion of the Livable

Region Programme,
