Pioneer Medallions

Commemorative medallions to
honet Canadian pioneers are creat-
ing wide interest throughout Brit-
ish Columbia, according to local
Centennial Committees reporting
to the Canadian Confederation
Centennial Committee of British
Columbia, .

The medallion, with ribbon, will
be presented in 1967 to thase qual-
ifying. Applications must be made
to local committees, who will sup-
ply the necessary forms. For the
purpose of this award, a pioneer is
defined as any person who was
either born in Canada or a resi-

Termed Success

The annual St. Patricks Tea and
Bazaar, sponsored by the Terrace
Catholic Womens League has been
declared an unqualified success by
officials of the local group. The
event was held on Saturday, March
19 in Veritas Hall amidst the gay,
green decor of St. Patrick's day.
Visiting children were kept busy
throughout the afternoon with a
