he may be well on the way to

“For more than.16 years,
Jerome Weintraub has been
studying the warble grub,
which eats into cattle hides.

Recently he has been.
considering a United States-
developed theory that
radiation of male insects can

help get rid of unwanted

species.

His pilot pro roject at a ranch
near Lethbridge has been
successful in the eradication
of one of the two problem:
: warble species, he says.
