submit certification by a Professional Engineer or Architect
that the proposed equivalency complies with the intent of the
Building Code and other enactments respecting safety, if
required by the Building Inepector; and

prior to the Building Inspector's decision on the application,
submit an additional fee of $100.00 to a maximum fee of $500.00
to the Buildiag Inspector for each hour of research time
expended on the equivalency application by the building
Inspector.
