is sueneeaty eH SEN January 27, 1992/015 A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Act was held prior to the Council meeting of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hali, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, January 27th, 1992 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Aldermen M.J. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, RH. Talbot, M.A. Thompson and M.R. Wright. were in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, City Engineer I. Zahynacz, Director of Planning C.R. Felip, Parks and Recreation Director X.J. Taylor, Director of Building Permits and Inspections J. Shardlow, Fire Chief J. Baillie and Deputy Fire Chief G. Routley. PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay advised the following proposed Bylaw would now be considered: Bylaw No. 2636: To repeal the present regulations in the Bylaw applying to the M-3 (Clean Industrial) zone pertaining to Uses Permitted, Height of Buildings, Floor Area Ratio, Lot Coverage, Yard Requirements, Off-Street Parking, Off-Street Loading, Design and Appearance, and Landscaping and enact new regulations in their place. . All property in the City now zoned M-3 (Clean Industrial) will be subject to the changes proposed. A letter was received by Sylvia Osberg, 3156 Raleigh Street opposing the proposed changes. The following person spoke at the public hearing: Mr. C. Kaytor, 1964 Taylor Street objected to the limited distance provided for in the M-3 zone, and that a clean industrial area would be allowed to create steam and exhaust with chemicals as is done in drycleaning. Mr. Kader has concerns that the height of the buildings would be increased, also feels that the fence height should be increased to 8 feet.
