SUBJECT: TEMPORARY BUS TURN AROUND ~ FUTURE SCHOOL PROPERTY, CITADEL HEIGHTS
(Public Works/Traffic Committee Meeting of March 19, 1991)

Recommendation:

1. That the City of Port Coquitlam request the School District No. 43
to approve a temporary bus turn around on Lot 1, Plan 72031,
located in the northeast corner of Citadel Drive and Confederation
Drive.

Background & Comments:

The Public Works/Traffic Committee and the City of Port Coquitlam - School
Board Liaison Committee considered the attached memorandum from the City
Engineer regarding a proposed temporary bus turn around in Citadel Heights.

BC Transit has informed the tity of Port Coquitlam that a public bus service
could be extended into Citadel Heights at this time if an appropriate
temporary bis turn around could be provided. by the City.

The representatives from the School District No. 43 noted that the property
north of Citadel Drive and east of Confederation Drive would be used for a
future school and that the School Board could approve the location of a
temporary bie turn around on this property at this time.
