BYLAW NO. 2574

A Bylaw to authorize the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam to
dispose of portione of dedicated road in exchange for a portion of land to
be dedicated as roai. |

WHEREAS the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of
cancelling portions of road shown dedicated in the City of Port Coquitlam in
the Province of British Columbia;

WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land deacribed in Section 2 of this Bylaw
has agreed to convey land to the City in exchange s0 that it may be
established as an addition to the roade in the City.

AND WHEREAS the “Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of
British Columbia, 1979, provides that the Council may by Bylaw dispose of any
portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the
purpose of improving, widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the
highway;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts a8 follows: |

1. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, is hereby authorized .to
convey to the Registered Owner of the lends described in the next Section
hereof:

a portion of dedicated road being a4 393.8 m2 portion of road in
- District Lot 380 dedicated by Plan 2208 shown hatched on a plan
certified by D.A. Le Patourel, British Columbia Land Surveyor, dated
the 8th day of February, 1991, and

a portion of dedicated road being a 393.8 m¢ portion of road in
District Lot 380 dedicated by Plan 69755 shown hatched on a plan
certified by D.A. Le Patourel, Britieh Columbia Land Surveyor, dated

the 8th day of February, 1991,

at or for the price or sum of $41,241.00 and in exchange for those certain
parcels or tracts of land deseribed in the next Section hereof.

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to
purchase of and fom the Registered Owner thereof a 43.63 m2 portion of
Lot F, Plan 18959, District Lot 380 shown included within the heavy
outline on a plan certified by D.A. Le Patourel, British Columbia Land
Surveyor, dated the 8th day of February, 1991, at or for the price or sum
of $1.00 and in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of land
described in the preceding Section hereof.

A copy of the plan referred to in Section 1 and Section 2 hereof is
attached to this bylaw and made a part hereof.
