Adjournment October 20th, 1975 Laking referred to the map received from the Premier yesterday, pointing out that the By-pass would isolate ail the City's waterfront properties, and stating he felt it was very important to make sure that access is provided to these properties. Alderman Thompson stated he would very much like to go to Victoria to view the plans as the By-pass will make a major impact on the planning for that area. Mayor Campbell, in reply to a query from Alderman Keryluk, advised that copies of the map would be circulated to members of Council. Mayor Campbell commented he was very pleased that the Premier had submitted the map for perusal by Council prior to making a public announcement on the proposed construction of the Mary Hill By-pass, and he stated he had the impression that if the Council had objected to the project, it would not have gone forward. Moved by Alderman Thompson: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That this meeting do now adjourn. Carried. At 10:25 p.m. the meeting adjourned. Sp Certified correct, City Clerk
