Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Talbot: That the Council approve the alignment of the proposed 54" diameter GVRD watermain as described in the letter from GVRD dated March 27, 1992, provided that the alternate route on Oxford and the Lougheed Highway be used. Carried. Moved by Alderman Thompson: Seconded by Alderman Wright: That the City Engineer be instructed to approach the G.V.R.D. regarding the upgrading of curbing, sidewalks and street lighting, by the G.V.R.D., along the alternative route of Oxford and Lougheed Highway. Carried. From the City Engineer, April 9th, 1992 regarding the Proposed One-way Lane, E. of Shaughnessy Between Elgin & Kingsway. Moved by Alderman Talbot: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That Council designate the lane east of Shaughnessy, between Elgin & Kingsway as a one-way lane for traffic going north. Carried. Aldermen Gates and Gordon voted against the resolution. From the City Engineer, April 9th, 1992 regarding Recycling Program For Service Commercial Businesses. ; Moved by Alderman Gates: Seconded. by Alderman Gordon: | That service commercial businesses in Port Coquitlam be invited to participate in the Port Coquitlam blue bag recycling program. Carried. Alderman Keryluk voted against the resolution.
