September 10, 1990/253 From the City Engineer, September 6th, 1990 regarding Request Traffic Control Improvements - Mary Hill Area. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Gates: That Council approve the following traffic control improvements in the Mary Hill Area: l. That 50 kilometer per hour speed signs be installed on Western Drive, north of Eastern for northbound traffic and south of Aire for southbound traffic. That the Public Works Départment be authorized to paint the curbs yellow for a distance of six metres on the approach to the crosswalk at Citadel and Kensington. Carried. From the City Engineer, September 6th, 1990 regarding Handley Crescent Sewage Pump Station Project. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Gates: l. That Council authorize the Engineering Department to complete the preliminary design and cost estimate for constructing a gravity sewer from the Handley Crescent Pump Station to the Fremont Pump Station, complete with a standby auxiliary generator at the Fremont Station. That the City notify the suppliers and contractors who bid on the Handley Crescent Pump Station that the City of Port Coquitlam will be redesigning the project and that the project will be retendered at a later date. Carried. From the Director of Community Planning, July 24th, 1990 regarding Development Permit Application 36/90 for 2765 Davies Avenue, 3225 Fox Street, 3210, 3216, 3220 Westwood Street.
