A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the
City of Port Coquitlam was held in the “Campbell Room", Best Western Poco
Motor Inn, 1545 Lougheed Highway, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, July ith,
1988, at 7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.D. Gates, M.C. Farnworth,
J.J. Keryluk, W.W. Stewart, G.R. Laking, and R.H. Taibot in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Engineer

T.M. Chong, Director of Community Planning W.A. Brown, Parks and Recreation
Director K.J. Taylor and Secretary S$. Rauh.

Seconded by Alderman Stewart:

That the minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Meeting held on
June 27th, 1988 , be taken as read and adopted;

Carried.

DELEGATION:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mrs. Coralie Fisher of the
Port Coquitlam Womens Centre who then introduced a number of women from the
centre and gave the Annual Report. The Womens Center made a request to
Council to upgrade and expand the Women's Centre.

That the annual report of the Port Coquitlam Womens Centre be received;

Aad That the request by the Port Coquitlam Womens Centre for upgrading
and expansion of the womens centre be referred the the Parks and Recreatioa
Committee fer further study and report. .
