i It was felt that the only real solution to the problem was to construct an overpass over the Railway to avoid the de;ays which are now being experienced at this crossing. It was suggested to Mr. Borch and Mr. Thompson that possible consideration should be given to the construction of a bridge to span the railway. It was indicated that it is possible that a bridge at this location might qualify for a grant from the Railway Grade Crossing Fund toward the cost of construction. The procedures to be followed in applying for such a grant were discussed. Arrangements are being made to forward to Mr. Borcha copy of an application for such a grant. This can be used for information in preparing a request from the City of Port Coquitlam, if the decision is made, to proceed with this project. - y Transport Committee.
