Aldermen Traboulay referred to the last item under the Remarks section of tha December, 1974 report concerning the fact that the incinerator at the C.P.R. Yard presently out of order would be repaired by the end of January, 1975, and he requested that this situation be kept under review with a further report to be made thereon. CORRESPONDENCE & PETITIONS: Corp.of Delta re From The Corporation of Delta, January 7th, 1975, concerning the iproposed GVRD office bidg. proposal by the Greater Vancouver Regional District to borrow money for complex a proposed office building complex, stating that th Council of that municipality has requested that the Minister of Municipal Affairs investigate all of the circumstances pertaining to the proposal, and advising that a resolution was adopted by that Council also, requesting the support of those members of the Regional District whose directors on the Board had indicated opposition to the proposed loan by-law and, further, that the Councils of such municipalities be asked to take similar action if they deem it appropriate. His Worship the Mayor. in speaking to the above-noted subject, stated he felt the location chosen by the G.V.R.D. for the proposed office building complex was an excellent one. Alderman Ranger conmented that in the last few years the Vancouver School Board has closed at least two elementary schools, and converted one inte a Teachers’ Resource Centre, and suggested that the G.V.R.D. look into the possibility of
