Eng., City Engineer SUBJECT: Proposed New Format for Refuse Collection Calendars (Public Works Committee Meeting June 7, 1989) RECOMMENDATION: That the proposed new format for Refuse Collection Calendars be approved, BACKGROUND AND COMMENT'S: the City has experienced significant growth in ary Hill. Presently, Zone 4 consists of approximately 1800 resi” -S while Zone 5 consists of an estimated total of 1150. In an effort tc crease our operational efficiency same balancing of the total number in each of these two zones will be necessary. This would mean that the refuse pick up day for the residents in the area bounded by Pitt River Road, Pooley Avenue, Broadway and the Mary Hill Bypass (currently in Zone 4) will be one day later when they are converted to Zone 5.
