As Council has expressed an interest in having the
Kingsway Bridge reptaced and the approaches improved, the
Committee feeis it would not be wise to install ornamental
poles until we know for sure what the road. elevations wilf be.
We would therefore Suggest tha: the street lighting be held in
abeyance until the report. on the bridge reptacement+ is
received. At that time Council could consider whether street
lighting should bea included as part of the work on the bridge
and approaches or whether we should Provide street lighting
independently. . _
