Re: Mosquito Control Board Costs ‘~ 1977

We have been informed that the City's share of Mosquito Control Costs for
1977 amounts to $1681.79. The total cost for the Regional District is
shared on the basis of the fixed costs being divided equally amongst the
four participating municipalities, In addition, each municipality pays
their direct cost of any aerial spray carried out throughout the year.

Our share, quoted above, is down slightly from last year ($1816.81 for 1976)
and is provided for in the current Budget. I would recommend that Council
approve the payment os $1681.79 to the G.V.R.D. for the 1977 Mosquito
Control Costs. ;
