~2- 3. (a) All applications for tree cutting permits shall be made in writing on the form prescribed in Schedule "A" hereto, which said Schedule is hereto annexed and made part of this By-law. (b) A permit may not be transferred or assigned. 4. Applications for permits will be accepted only from the owner or owners of the land in respect of which the permit is applied for. Application shall be made to the City Administrator and shall be accompanied by the requisite information, data, plans, and specifications hereinafter required, 5. An applicant for a pernit-to—evt—a-tree pursuant to tha provisions of this By-law shall provide: (a) The reason for which the tree or trees is to be cut. (b) Details of development of the area in which the cutting of trees is proposed and without limiting the generality of the foregoing the said plans shall contain or shall be accompanied by a statement containing the following information: i. All pertinent topographic features, buildings, structures and tree cover. The methods proposed te control the erosion of the soil from any slopes of the land or any adjacent land. The proposed methods of access te the site during the cutting. The proposed methods of cutting including any safeguards to ensure that no hazard to human or animal life exists. Satisfactory evidence that the person or firm responsible for the cutting is covered by adequate liability insurance. vi. Such further and other information as the City Administrator may require, 6. Each and every permit issued pursuant to this By-law shall be subject to the following conditions, wdess-etherviceorestied-feo~in-wisins-—thercone (a) ALL damage to municipal drainage facilities, roads or lanes, or other municipally owned property resulting from the tree cutting therefrom shall be vepaired. All drainage facilities shall be kept free of silt, clay, sand, rubble, debris, gravel and any other matter or thing originating from any tree cutting upon the lands and premises and causing obstruction to such drainage.
