In accordance with the required ~ rvecedure this By-law was advanced to the Department of Municipal Affairs and we have been F f Z 4 advised that at the present time they are not willing to advance the By~law for the required approval of the Lieutenant-Goyernor in Council unless the provision for the $300.00 charge Maeght cates tet is removed, rt Accordingly, passage of the draft resolution thet we have ® prepared would eliminate the $399. 00 charge and piace the By-law in a form acceptable to the ‘tunicipai Affirs Depart- ment. This subject has been discussed with our Solicitor and we can advise that we are recommend ing this procedure as a result of his suggestione te us. We will shortly be prepar- ing 2 separate By-law covering the $300.00 fee and will be submitting this By-law to the Municipal Affairs Department along witha letter from our Selicitor stating. that, in his opinion, the charge is quite proper and is authorized by the legislation. There will quite TTR Re era anand tennant atten I antral ERAN DU Ce ere tee i probably be a considerabel delay following the submittal of this By-law to the Department and it is for this. reason that we are suggesting that it be deait with by way of & separate By-law. !
