Jt was this way, Last Friday, a week ago, Charlie Burthwistle left bis cabin at the north end ‘of town intending mak- ing a trip up one of the mountains and réturn the next day. He went up al. right, but coming back he got off the! trail and. became lost. He apent the following four days trying to find hi! way out and arrived at Pohle’s ranci, on Wednesday. He was about all in and felt quite hungry. Mrs. Pohie . took him in and rendered first aid in the way of sonie hot milk as a starter.
